Paper Topics
Global Mapping Forum 2008 invites papers that deal with data application of Global Map to global environmental issues or the related fields. Reports on the practices in various fields are welcome but those for commercial purposes are not accepted.

Submission Deadlines
Deadline for submission of Abstracts: January 31, 2008
Abstracts should be about 500 words in length. Language should be English. The abstracts are reviewed and the authors are informed of the results by the end of Feb. 2008.

Full Papers
Deadline for submission of Full Papers: May 10, 2008
The authors passing through the selection process should submit full papers. The full papers should be written in English on A-4 paper. Full papers should not exceed 10 pages. They should be mailed to sec@iscgm.org as attachment in electronic format such as MS word or PDF format. If you are unable to send them in electronic format, please send them to the following address.

Award
Traveling expenses with accommodation fee will be awarded to the winners. Young researchers of 40 years old or under will be awarded.

Global Map Data for Research
Global Map Data is downloadable at the website of ISCGM, but some data is not available. If you wish to use some of the un-released data such as land cover data, percent tree cover, etc., please contact at sec@iscgm.org.
